Dear WMTS Members and Friends-
I am pleased to announce that we are all set for the 2022 WMTS Meeting in Orlando Florida from October 22-28, 2022!!

Tennis will be played at the beautiful 100 court USTA National Campus in Lake Nona Florida, with everything you could ask for in a tennis club/facility, and only a 10-15 minute drive from the Orlando airport. We will have 40 clay and hard courts available, and also a tennis scheduling program that will tell you your next match time when you report your scores for the match you just completed - no late night emails about your schedule of play!!

The plan is to have warm-up time in the afternoon of Saturday October 22, then matches begin Sunday morning. All divisions will start no later than Monday. We will do draws that allow a minimum of 3 matches in each division you enter, win or lose!!! Friday October 28th will be the last day of tennis, and the night of the Closing Dinner.

We will also have the option for tennis/clinics for children, adult clinics for those interested, and pickle-ball courts for fun as well.

Our opening night dinner will be at the USTA National Campus on Saturday October 22; and the Cultural night will be at the Kennedy Space Center on Wednesday October 26th. The latter will be a special event with an educational program in addition to the amazing space craft to see.

There are also 4-5 great restaurants all within a 5 min walk of the three hotels. The flagship hotel is the Lake Nona Wave Hotel, with a Residence Inn and Courtyard by Marriott as the other two. There will be a free shuttle from the hotel area to the tennis center, 5 minutes away. More specifics will be on the registration website.

We will also have opportunities for you and your families to enjoy other activities around the Orlando area, including of course, day trips to the Walt Disney World Resort.
